You can find the Solver on the Information tabs, in the Analyze team. Under Add-ins, go for Solver Add-in and click on on the Move button. Click the Tools menu, then click the Add-ins command. In Excel for Macintosh, if you don't see the Solver command on the Tools menu, you need to load the Solver add-in.
Find its position in the original string: Subtract 1 to get the number of spaces before the first. Get the first non-blank character in the string.
